I know I'm supposed to give this badge to only one person but it was hard for me to separate these two wonderful people. I've known this special couple for many years. A few years ago they adopted two children. These two "blessings" have been the light of their lives and a light to our church community as well. Their daughter is a special needs child and requires "round the clock" care. I never hear Wayne or Rowe complaining in spite of their own many physical problems. Rowe, a breast cancer survivor and Wayne,with his leg and feet problems (from Diabetes) They both continue to trust God and thank Him every day for all of their blessings.During this past hurricane season, their home sustained a lot of damage and still they had encouraging words for others who were struggling from the storm. Wayne and Rowe, I want you to know how much I love and admire both of you. Every day when I pass in front of your house I send a special prayer on to you and your loved ones for God to give you strength and continued faith in your daily walk with him. You may not realize what an inspiration you are to so many people but you are !!!! I love you ! Marion

Carol Stearns is a VIP that sneaks up on you....she certainly did me! I not only admire her as a fellow female business owner who I can relate common issues and challenges, I also appreciate her beyond our professional relationship. She is the daughter of a 42 month POW from WWII. She herself served in the Air Force and retired as a Lt.Col.; then went back as a reservist in Desert Storm. She is a true American. So, coming out of the military, she dove into the Decorating Den franchise system and shared her beautiful style and visions with her customers. She has won national awards for her hard work. Carol shows compassion for others and has, along with her husband, participated in mission trips with her church. She is active in our community and The Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce. She is a supportive wife, mother and grandmother. She cares enough to share anything from dieting tips to marketing tips to scripture. I remember the first time she called me friend. I met Cyndie several years ago at a workshop. Our lives have crossed paths several times since. She is now my neighbor and an intigral part of the shift that we are now starting to experience. Cyndie is very kind, generous, loving, caring, nurturing and I am sure, has many other fine attributes. Most of all, I am very grateful for our friendship. Dear Marhall, This is the first thing I've ever written to you, I just wanted you to know how proud I am of you, Matt and Michelle. You are the husband and father I was not, I do now and have always loved all of you. I did not have a father roll model in my life and I was working fifty-six hours a week at 12 years old. I was just a selfish child when you all were young and did not spend the time with you all, but now I wish I had. Despite the adversity you had to overcome, the three of you have turned out to be good parents and spouses. You all were very blessed with a good caring mother who also had to fight adversity because of me.
