a mother in law sends a vip badge

Afghanistan
CW3 Matthew Longanacre deserves this VIP pin more than anyone I know. He enlisted into the Army at 17 and his determination & ability to succeed is remarkable. He has been on a 16 year career path that has led him to outstanding achievements. He is currently deployed to Afghanistar flying the Apache 64D. His sacrifice is unwavering. He as always set his goals high and has managed to reach every single one of those goals with extreme discipline and love of his country. It amazes mny how one can put their life on the line every single day for our freedom, so many are not appreciated, but he is one that is much appreciated of all that he does for our country and he is so proud to serve. He has lost some very dear friends who were brothers in arms, and in fight. He still knows the taks at hand, and puts his helmet on everyday and gets in his aircraft to begin another day or night of long flights. He continues to set high goals. He has been accepted to assess to fly for the prestigious 160th Special Forces. We have no doubt he will succeed in this new chapter. He is committed and will never back down from anything. When you think of a great soldier, pilot, and man, his name should come to mind. He is one of the most trustworty, ethical and moralistic young men that I know and I am proud to have him as my son-in-law. Sherry S
