I’m presenting this V.I.P. badge to Steve King, my former boss, my mentor, my biggest cheerleader and above all my “Radio Dad”. Over the past couple years Steve has really been a great influence in my career, and life. No matter what he was always there with his door open so I could stand in the door frame and talk to him (with exception of that one time when I actually went into his office and sat down). He’s given me the “you can’t wear that out to an event” lecture, and grounded me (two weeks with out pay) :0( just like any good “Radio Dad” would. He’s given me the motivation and criticism that I need to take over Radioland! In a pool of sharks he was my lifesaver keeping me afloat and helping me survive the blood bath that is Radioland. And I wouldn’t be where I am today without him. For all theses reason and SO MANY more he is a V.I.P. in my book---Samantha Cervantes :0)
