florida
first i want to thank elisa for thinking of giving me the badge! now i'm giving the badge VIP badge to my friend, lee hurst. i've known lee for over a decade; which means most of his young life! when he was six years old, he drew a beautiful ocean scene for a birthday present for me -- i was so touched by his thoughtfulness at such a tender age -- and astounded by his artistic ability. i framed and still proudly display his lovely gift. as i'm watching him grow, i'm so pleased with the joy he brings his parents with his A+ honor roll grades; his participation in martial arts, church, and family-related activities. he is an outstanding representative of his generation! and i am so proud of him; and happy that we are friends. i know that one day, i'll be able to say, "oh, yes, i knew him when he was just a little boy -- and look at him now!". i'm so glad for the opportunity to tell lee just how much he means to me.
