Susanne, I am sending you this badge for being the kind of person you and are for being the friend you are to everyone you meet. And, especially for being a friend to me and my family for all of these many years. I would hope that I could be the kind of person that you have been over the past year and still have a smile and say the kind things that you still say and do. You have been a devoted wife to Lowell and given him the care that I would hope that I could give if there was a time that I was put in that position. I know there were times you would have liked to give up, but you hung in there with your entire being. You made his life wonderful and I know he knew that right up the the end. Even though I have not been there for you physically, you know that I have been there in heart and my prayers were always for you and Lowell. I hate that we have lived so far apart and you moved to some little burg in the hills to make the man that you loved happy, and, he was a happy man. I hope that I never have to walk in your shoes, (and you have some funny shoes), but if I do I hope I can fill them as well as you have. You have no idea how much love and respect that I have for you, and how much I hated not being there for you in the end. And this is why I consider you a VIP
